Community Manager for The Overlook, Walnut Creek

About the role

The Overlook community in Walnut Creek is seeking a dynamic Community Manager to oversee daily operations of multiple properties, drive financial performance, and ensure a high‑quality resident experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day operations of two or more assigned properties, meeting budgeted financial and operational goals.
• Lead a team of five on‑site staff, coordinating daily activities, resource allocation, and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with Greystar policies, Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and other multifamily housing regulations.
• Oversee resident relations, lease administration, rent collection, and maintenance coordination.
• Provide input into annual budget development and monitor actual results against forecasts.

Required profile

• Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting and expense control.
• Proven leadership ability to manage a small on‑site team.
• Excellent communication and resident service skills.
• Knowledge of multifamily housing operations and relevant regulations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Yardi property management software (preferred).
