Community Manager – Apartment Community

About the role

The Community Manager is responsible for the day‑to‑day operation of an assigned apartment community, overseeing financial performance, resident satisfaction, and compliance with company policies and housing regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage the property budget, set rent rates, collect rents, and prepare monthly financial reports.
• Approve vendor invoices, ensure proper insurance certificates, and reconcile expenses against the approved budget.
• Oversee lease enforcement, including application approvals, renewals, inspections, evictions, and collection of late fees.
• Analyze market trends and implement leasing strategies to achieve occupancy and revenue goals.
• Supervise property staff, conduct hiring, training, performance evaluations, and ensure maintenance standards are met.
• Maintain owner relationships through regular updates, property tours, and responding to owner requests.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Management, Real Estate, or a related field.
• 4–6 years of property management, sales, marketing, or customer‑service experience.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong communication, conflict‑resolution, and customer‑service skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property‑management software (Entrata, Yardi, OneSite).
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel) and database management tools.
• Valid driver’s license and any state‑required real‑estate or property‑management licenses.
