About the role

Husch Blackwell LLP, a national law firm, is seeking a Commercial Litigation Senior Counsel for its Austin or Dallas office. The role requires at least eight years of experience and an active Texas bar license, and the attorney will work within the Financial Services & Capital Markets Strategic Business Unit.

Key responsibilities

Prepare pleadings and other court documents.
Conduct depositions and gather evidentiary material.
Draft and argue motions.
Engage in settlement negotiations.
Communicate case developments with clients.

Required profile

Excellent academic credentials and a strong desire to excel.
Commitment to community and ability to work well under pressure.
Exceptional judgment and capacity to manage multiple projects.
Able to articulate legal strategies and courses of action.
