Commercial Data Integration Platform Lead Developer

About the role

Mastercard is looking for a Lead Developer to own the Commercial Data Integration Platform (CDIP). The role involves guiding a mixed team of internal staff and contractors to build, deploy, and continuously improve a data‑driven platform that powers commercial insights across Mastercard products.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor development teams in daily CDIP build, deployment, and enhancement activities.
• Collaborate with architecture and leadership to translate requirements into clear design and solution patterns.
• Coordinate with internal and external partners to ensure compliance with Mastercard policies and standards.
• Identify and communicate risks and blockers to maintain project transparency.
• Drive engineering best practices, including code quality, testing, and operational excellence.
• Support platform reliability through monitoring, incident response, and process improvement.
• Contribute to technical strategy, recommending tooling, automation, and architectural improvements.
