CNC Operator

About the role

As a CNC Operator at ASC, you will work in the machine shop performing CNC operations for threaded pipe fittings while ensuring safety and quality throughout the process.

Key responsibilities

• Load parts safely, start the machine cycle, and unload completed parts.
• Perform visual quality inspections and document any issues.
• Operate CNC equipment, including mills and lathes.
• Complete product quality inspections and related documentation.
• Place finished parts in the appropriate containers.
• Use the emergency‑stop in case of malfunction or unusual noise.
• Maintain quality and productivity objectives across single or multiple machines.
• Report daily production using M3 software.
• Utilize precise measuring equipment for quality inspection.
• Comprehend product identification and quality standards.
• Obtain a tow‑motor license and pass LOTO and confined‑space training.

Required profile

• Apply common‑sense understanding to follow detailed instructions.
• Discern imperfections and understand quality of repairs on iron holders and ladles.
• Perform basic tallying of units as trained.
• Learn job duties and locations from verbal instructions.
• Be available for weekend and overtime assignments as needed.
