CNA Program Adjunct Instructor (Dual Enrollment)

About the role

The State of Georgia is seeking a qualified Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Adjunct Instructor to deliver dual‑enrollment CNA courses in partner high schools across several counties. This part‑time, term‑based position allows you to share your nursing expertise while supporting the state’s workforce development goals.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver dual‑enrollment Certified Nursing Assistant courses at high schools in Bartow, Cherokee, Cobb, Gilmer, Paulding, and Pickens counties.
• Coordinate class schedules with each high school’s timetable.
• Manage and assess the clinical component of the CNA curriculum.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and course outcomes.

Required profile

• Licensed Practical Nurse with at least one year of nursing‑home experience or a Registered Nurse, both holding a current valid Georgia nursing license.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Proficiency with computers and online learning platforms.

Required skills

• Experience using a Learning Management System (e.g., Blackboard).
