About the role

The Clinical Teaching Assistant for Nursing provides direct supervision, instruction, and mentorship to nursing students across a variety of clinical practice settings, including hospitals, clinics, and long‑term care facilities. This part‑time position bridges classroom theory with real‑world patient care, fostering critical thinking and safe clinical practice.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and guide nursing students during clinical rotations, ensuring adherence to safety and professional standards.
• Facilitate the application of theoretical knowledge to patient care through hands‑on teaching and feedback.
• Collaborate with clinical faculty and agency staff to align learning activities with course objectives.
• Assess student performance, document progress, and provide constructive evaluations.
• Promote development of clinical judgment, critical thinking, and effective communication skills.

Required profile

• Current RN licensure (or equivalent) in good standing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (or related field); graduate education preferred.
• Experience in clinical nursing practice, preferably with prior teaching or mentorship experience.
• Strong understanding of nursing curricula and clinical competencies.
