Clinical Sales Representative – Surgical Robotics

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Clinical Sales Representative to drive sales and utilization of the Ottava Surgical Robotic System in the Raleigh, NC territory. The role combines clinical expertise with sales acumen to support surgeons and healthcare teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute quarterly business plans to achieve procedure and disposable sales targets.
• Lead product technical and clinical demonstrations, and conduct referral education activities.
• Implement post‑sales installation, adoption, and support protocols in collaboration with service teams.
• Maintain detailed strategic business plans and provide realistic sales forecasts to management.

Required profile

• Minimum bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years of medical device or healthcare B2B sales experience.
• Extensive travel (up to 75%) and ability to work in hospital/ASC settings, including attending live cases.
• Self‑starter with strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work autonomously in high‑pressure environments.

Required skills

• Expert knowledge of Ottava Surgical Robotics products.
• Understanding of ISO 13485 and 21 CFR 820 compliance requirements.
• Ability to communicate technical and clinical information to physicians and economic buyers.
