Clinical Quality Improvement & Patient Safety Specialist

This role drives measurable, sustainable patient safety initiatives and collaborates across functional teams to improve clinical outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Track outcomes of patient safety improvement initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Utilize quality and safety improvement tools such as PDCA and A3 to design, develop, implement, and monitor projects.
• Create and revise procedures required for successful Quality Improvement program implementation.
• Develop reports and visual dashboards that clearly communicate trends, outcomes, and opportunities.
• Provide regular progress updates to senior leadership and the Quality & Patient Safety Council.
• Collaborate with analytics teams to design data reporting around program performance, clinical, and financial outcomes.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or a related healthcare field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in Quality Improvement.
• Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS) to be obtained within 2 years of hire.
• Current, valid RN license or applicable Arizona allied health license.

Required skills

• Dashboard development and visual reporting.
• Data reporting and analysis in collaboration with analytics teams.
• Proficiency with quality improvement methodologies (PDCA, A3).
