Clinical Lead RN – Day Shift

About the role

The Clinical Lead RN coordinates nursing staff, patient flow, and quality initiatives on the PCU during day shifts. This position serves as a liaison between patients, staff, and management, ensuring safe, high‑quality care while fostering a respectful work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate staffing and delegate patient care activities to optimize productivity based on patient acuity and staff expertise.
• Lead daily huddles, provide consistent information, and support staff problem‑solving and decision‑making.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and clinical tasks, and attend unit care conferences and patient rounds.
• Audit documentation, ensure compliance with policies, and support performance‑improvement activities.
• Promote evidence‑based practices to prevent healthcare‑acquired conditions and reduce readmissions.

Required profile

• Associate degree in Nursing (or Nursing Diploma) and active RN license in Arizona.
• Minimum one year of RN experience, preferably in the relevant clinical area.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NRP, Basic EKG, and ESI certifications.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, manage equipment, and assist with patient movement.
