About the role
The School of Nursing seeks a Clinical Assistant Professor for a 12‑month, non‑tenure‑track appointment. The faculty member will teach, advise, mentor, and evaluate nursing students while contributing to university, community, and professional service.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver undergraduate and/or graduate nursing courses.
- Advise, mentor, and assess student progress throughout the nursing program.
- Participate in service activities for the university, local community, and the nursing profession.
- Support research projects and engage in scholarly activities as needed.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing and current enrollment in a master’s nursing program, OR a master’s degree in nursing, OR a doctoral degree in nursing, OR a Ph.D./Ed.D. with a master’s in nursing.
- Current, unencumbered Arkansas RN license or a multi‑state compact RN license.
