Clinical Addiction Psychologist

About the role

Ochsner Health is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Clinical Addiction Psychologist to join its Department of Psychiatry on the Jefferson Highway Campus. The role focuses on adult patients in intensive outpatient programs, conducting psychological evaluations, and providing individual outpatient care.

Key responsibilities

• Provide individual and group therapy to adults in the Ochsner Mental Wellness and Recovery Programs.
• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations, including psycho‑educational and personality testing.
• Deliver brief evidence‑based psychotherapies in an outpatient setting.
• Offer couples therapy when appropriate.

Required profile

• Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from an APA‑approved program.
• License or eligibility for licensure in Louisiana.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Clinical Addiction Psychology.
• Experience with group therapy, psychological assessment, and brief evidence‑based outpatient treatments.
