Clinic Operations Manager – Baptist Clinic

About the role

Ochsner Health is seeking a Clinic Operations Manager to lead daily operations at its Baptist clinic. The role combines leadership, financial oversight, and patient‑care coordination to ensure high‑quality, safe, and compliant services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage systems and relationships to guarantee quality care, safety, regulatory compliance and patient satisfaction.
• Determine staffing levels, conduct hiring, onboarding, performance reviews and work with HR on progressive discipline.
• Act as liaison for system‑wide information distribution and feedback.
• Monitor and distribute monthly or ad‑hoc operating reports, reviewing them with physician leaders and the Director.
• Support growth through business planning and special projects.
• Review telephone service and access data daily, adjust staffing, and recommend physician staffing changes as needed.

Required profile

• High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Business Administration or related field preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of health‑care experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
• Strong computer proficiency for data entry, retrieval of patient information, and use of Windows‑style applications.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills for presenting information to diverse audiences.
• Financial acumen to manage budgets, interpret financial statements, analyze trends and make recommendations.
