Client Services Account Manager – Payer Healthcare

About the role

Client Services Account Manager – Payer Healthcare Services is a remote, full‑time position focused on maintaining and advancing relationships that keep Medicare and Medicaid programs moving. The role connects payer priorities with operational delivery, turning performance data and client feedback into actionable improvements. You will work with health plans to deliver clinical assessments, close care gaps and improve overall program performance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day health‑plan relationships, program commitments and client communications.
• Coordinate onboarding and ongoing delivery with clinical, outreach, scheduling, operations and data teams.
• Monitor service levels, volumes, quality and deadlines, resolving issues before they become escalations.
• Lead business reviews that provide performance insights, action plans and accountable follow‑through.
• Align client expectations, internal priorities and contractual deliverables throughout the engagement.

Required profile

• At least five years of healthcare account management, client services or program operations experience.
• Direct experience supporting Medicare or Medicaid programs, either at a payer‑focused services company or within a health plan.
• Practical knowledge of risk adjustment, HEDIS, quality improvement, care‑gap closure or related value‑based care initiatives.
• Ability to translate reports into clear client‑facing recommendations and follow through across multiple workstreams.
• Proficiency with Excel or comparable reporting tools; experience with in‑home, mobile or virtual assessment programs is a plus.
