Client Events Manager – Luxury Retail

About the role

The Client Events Manager is responsible for the end‑to‑end planning, execution, and performance reporting of client‑focused events across Gucci Americas. This includes festivities, store openings, and seasonal launch activations that reinforce the Gucci brand and drive client engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute event strategies aligned with client engagement objectives and business priorities.
• Manage all phases of event planning: run‑of‑show creation, vendor sourcing, logistics, visual tools, gifting, staffing, and on‑site execution.
• Maintain master timelines and project plans to ensure milestones and deadlines are met.
• Conduct site visits and operational assessments to verify brand standards and readiness.
• Oversee vendor contracts, negotiations, onboarding, and post‑event evaluations in partnership with Legal.
• Control individual event budgets, track expenditures, process invoices, and identify cost‑efficiency opportunities while preserving luxury standards.
• Collaborate with Retail Leadership, Visual Merchandising, Security, Communications, and other stakeholders to deliver seamless 360° event support.
• Provide stores with targeted client lists, outreach tools, and event toolkits to maximise attendance and engagement.

Required profile

• Proven experience in end‑to‑end event planning and execution within a luxury or high‑end retail environment.
• Strong vendor management and budget oversight capabilities.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with retail, visual merchandising, security, and communications teams.
• Excellent organizational skills with a focus on detail and brand standards.
