About the role

As a Classroom Teacher for Milk Bar Nomad, you will create memorable baking experiences for guests in both public classes and private events. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will ensure every participant leaves with a smile and a newfound love for Milk Bar magic.

Key responsibilities

• Teach a full range of public baking classes and private events.
• Prepare class mise‑en‑place, verify ingredient freshness, and set up equipment before each session.
• Collaborate with other departments to develop efficient organizational systems.
• Assist with product ordering, inventory management, and coordination with commissary staff.
• Complete end‑of‑class and event communication logs.
• Maintain a clean and ready classroom environment, including washing items and routine upkeep.
• Engage and captivate guests to deliver the best possible experience.
• Support the Classes team with side‑work checklists during slower periods.
• Prepare frosting, crumbs, and other bakery components as needed.

Required profile

• Comfortable entertaining and instructing an audience.
• Knowledge of baking techniques and familiarity with bakery equipment (a plus).
• Strong relationship‑building skills and adaptability to change.
• Efficient time‑management and meticulous attention to detail.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
• Regular in‑person attendance is essential.
