Claims Handler – Early Career (Dallas)

About the role

We are seeking an early‑career Claims Handler to join ClaimSorted’s downtown Dallas office. This position is perfect for an adjuster with 1–2 years of experience who holds a Texas All‑Lines Adjuster license and is eager to accelerate their career in a fast‑growing InsurTech environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own a desk of claims end‑to‑end, from first notification of loss through resolution.
• Communicate with policyholders throughout the claims journey to ensure a clear, positive experience.
• Make well‑documented decisions within your authority and manage claims accordingly.
• Identify potential fraud indicators and escalate them appropriately.
• Maintain accurate claims records for audit and compliance.
• Collaborate with operations and engineering to drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Willing to work five days per week onsite in Dallas.
• Texas All‑Lines Adjuster license with Texas as the home state.
• 1–2 years of adjusting experience.
• Sharp, organized, and able to prioritize independently.
• Clear communicator, both written and verbal.
• Curious about claims and coverage, comfortable using data for decisions.
• Team‑oriented, hardworking, and ambitious.
• Startup or high‑growth experience is a plus.
