About the role

The Child Care Teacher Assistant supports the Head Start program within the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Working under the guidance of lead teachers, the assistant helps create a safe and nurturing environment for young children.

Key responsibilities

Assist lead teachers in daily classroom activities and routines.
Support children’s learning and development through age‑appropriate interactions.
Help maintain a clean and organized classroom setting.

Required profile

Must have legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
