Chief of Staff (Financial Services)

About the role

The Chief of Staff provides senior‑level support to Financial Advisors and Private Wealth Advisors, overseeing business operations and ensuring alignment of team priorities with strategic goals. This role drives the execution of the team’s strategic plan, enhances client experience, and supports growth initiatives across business development, marketing, and client relationship functions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate Support Professionals to align with team priorities and business objectives.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for business matters, directing issues to appropriate resources and tracking resolution.
• Guide strategic initiatives, monitoring asset acquisition, growth metrics, and performance of advisors.
• Organize critical information for advisors to enable efficient decision‑making.
• Enhance client relationships by delivering an exceptional client experience and managing communication strategies.
• Collaborate with the Business Service Officer on hiring, training, and performance evaluation of team members.
• Assess and integrate new firm services into existing offerings.

Required profile

• 10+ years of relevant experience in financial services or a related field.
• Advanced degree or professional certification; active Series 7 and Series 66 (or Series 63 and Series 65) licenses required.
• Willingness to obtain additional licenses or designations as needed.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and detail‑orientation skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel.
