Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

About the role

We’re looking for a strategic, execution‑oriented CFO to lead Campfire’s financial operations and help shape the company’s next phase of growth. This senior executive will partner closely with the CEO and board to drive business strategy, capital decisions, and long‑term planning.

Key responsibilities

• Own the financial narrative for investors, board members, partners, and the market.
• Lead financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting across the company.
• Drive fundraising strategy, investor relations, and capital allocation decisions.
• Build and scale finance, accounting, and operations functions.
• Partner with GTM, Product, and Engineering leaders on pricing, unit economics, and growth decisions.
• Ensure strong financial controls, compliance, and audit readiness.
• Evaluate strategic partnerships and corporate transactions.

Required profile

• 10+ years of finance leadership experience, preferably in high‑growth SaaS or enterprise software.
• Prior experience as CFO or VP Finance at a venture‑backed company.
• Track record of leading fundraising rounds (Series B and beyond) or taking a company public.
• Strong communicator who translates complex financial data into strategic insight.
• Operator mindset – detail‑oriented while keeping an eye on the big picture.
• Deep integrity and sound judgment in ambiguous, fast‑moving environments.
