CDL‑A Linehaul Truck Driver (Home Daily)

About the role

R+L Carriers is seeking experienced CDL‑A Linehaul Drivers for its Montebello, CA service center. Drivers pull van trailers up to 53 feet or double trailers between service centers and turn‑point locations, returning home each night.

Key responsibilities

• Operate van and double trailers safely on linehaul routes.
• Transport freight between R+L service centers and designated turn‑points.
• Maintain accurate logs and comply with DOT regulations.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report issues promptly.

Required profile

• Valid CDL Class A with at least 1 year of verifiable Class A experience in the past 3 years.
• Clean driving record (no serious violations, ≤3 moving violations in 3 years).
• Age 23 (or 21 with FMCSA military transition qualification).
• Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screen, and road test.
• Physical ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.

Required skills

• CDL Class A certification.
• Operation of 53‑foot van trailers and double trailers.
• Haz‑mat endorsement (preferred).
• Tanker endorsement (preferred).
• Experience with LTL freight (preferred).
