Cashier - Isleta Amphitheater

About the role

A cashier is needed at the Isleta Amphitheater to handle cash and credit card transactions and reporting in a timely, efficient and accurate way. The cashier also sets up, maintains and cleans their workstation. The employer is Legends Global, a hospitality and events agency serving brands in professional sports, collegiate, attractions, entertainment, international and convention sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare simple menu items and sell items while collecting payment and making correct change.
• Enter all sales into the cash register so purchases are accurately recorded.
• Verify ID on customers ordering alcohol.
• Provide quick, efficient, accurate and friendly service and suggestively sell and upsell items.
• Perform closing duties including clean up, product storage and trash removal.
• Maintain a clean, neat and safe work area and keep up with company service standards, inventory and cash control procedures.
• Work all events, including extended hours, nights, weekends and holidays.

Required profile

• At least 18 years old and fluent in English.
• Ability to work in an open-air environment in all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift and carry 10-30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds, up and down stairs or ramps.
• Sufficient mobility for constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing and pulling.
• Meets state and local health requirements for food handlers and alcoholic beverage services.
• Willingness to follow safety policies, complete safety training and practice safe work habits.

Required skills

• Arithmetic with U.S. currency (add, subtract, multiply and divide).
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
