About the role

The State of Georgia, through Chattahoochee Technical College, is seeking a Carpentry/Construction Adjunct Instructor for its Appalachian Campus. This part‑time, term‑based position involves delivering lecture and lab instruction to students preparing for careers in the carpentry trades.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver classroom lectures and hands‑on lab sessions.
• Provide student advisement and mentorship.
• Assess and evaluate student progress and coursework.
• Maintain a safe, productive learning environment.

Required profile

• Diploma in Carpentry, Construction or a related field from a regionally accredited college, OR at least 10 years of documented field experience with industry certifications.
• Ability to submit official or unofficial transcripts.
• No prior teaching experience required; preference given to candidates with an associate degree or teaching background.
