About the role

Delta Air Lines is seeking an entry‑level Cargo Customer Service Agent to join its JFK operations. You will be the front‑line representative for Delta Cargo, assisting customers in person and over the phone to ensure shipments move safely and on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Interact directly with cargo customers, providing information and resolving inquiries.
• Coordinate cargo handling activities to meet flight schedules.
• Lift and move tools, supplies, or items up to 50 lb as required.
• Follow all safety and security procedures, including the use of required personal protective equipment.
• Maintain accurate records using basic computer applications.

Required profile

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass a Physical Ability Test and wear required PPE.
• Consistent focus on safety and security.

Required skills

• Basic digital literacy.
