Caregiver (HHA/CNA) - Full Time 3PM-11PM

About the role

Brandywine Living at Mahwah, part of Monarch Communities, is hiring a full-time Caregiver (HHA/CNA) for its assisted living community in Mahwah, NJ. The shift runs from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, and the hourly rate is $20.31 to $21.31.

Key responsibilities

• Provide warm, engaging personal care services, support and companionship to residents
• Engage and assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Watch for changes in residents' day and personal care needs and update their Resident Care Plan
• Encourage resident participation in community programs and activities

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of resident care experience
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA)
• Able to speak, read and write in English
• Experience working with the elderly population preferred; dementia experience preferred
