Cardiometabolic Medical Science Liaison

About the role

Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals is seeking an experienced Cardiometabolic Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to join its Medical Affairs team. This field‑based position will focus on scientific engagement with healthcare professionals to support the company’s RNAi‑based therapeutics in the cardiometabolic space.

Key responsibilities

• Engage cardiologists, endocrinologists and other key stakeholders to provide scientific education on clinical evidence and RNAi technology.
• Educate healthcare professionals about hypertriglyceridemia, familial chylomicronemia syndrome, and hypercholesterolemia.
• Synthesize and communicate clinical and scientific insights to internal teams.
• Attend and present at scientific congresses and meetings to stay current with cardiometabolic developments.
• Respond to unsolicited inquiries in compliance with MSL standards.
• Support company‑sponsored clinical trials through investigator site engagement.
• Assist with speaker training and ensure up‑to‑date disease knowledge.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Medical Science Liaison in the cardiometabolic therapeutic area.
• Ability to work in a field‑based role with travel within the assigned territory.
• Located within the United States territory as required by the position.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of RNAi technology.
• Understanding of hypertriglyceridemia, familial chylomicronemia syndrome, and hypercholesterolemia.
