Cardiac Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist – Dual Campus, $30k Sign‑On

About the role

Ochsner Health is seeking a Registered Radiologic Technologist to work in the Cardiac Cath Lab across its Baptist, Clearview, and Jeff Hwy campuses. The position offers a new work/life model with flexible scheduling and minimal call burden.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the team with patient setup and preparation before procedures and clean up post‑procedure using safe transfer techniques.
• Operate diagnostic fluoroscopy and cardiac imaging equipment to obtain high‑quality images of coronary and peripheral vascular disease.
• Monitor hemodynamic parameters and radiation dose, document procedures accurately, and ensure proper billing capture.
• Transmit, archive, and retrieve digital images in the PACS system and perform routine equipment quality control.

Required profile

• Associate degree in Radiologic Sciences (Bachelor’s preferred).
• Registered Radiologic Technologist in the state of practice and ARRT registration.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within six months of hire.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and on‑call as needed.

Required skills

• Operation of diagnostic fluoroscopy and cardiac imaging equipment.
• Proficiency with Windows‑based applications and data entry.
• Effective verbal and written communication for patient interaction and documentation.
