Car Detailer – Entry Level Lot Attendant

About the role

Carvana is seeking enthusiastic entry‑level Lot Attendants to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of vehicles at its Market Hubs. You will work onsite in San Jose, ensuring each car meets Carvana’s high standards before it reaches customers.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect each vehicle for mechanical, drivability, and cosmetic concerns.
• Wash and vacuum inventory regularly and complete multi‑point inspections, including fuel level, safety features, and required disclosures.
• Coordinate with teammates and external vendors to ensure timely deliveries and high customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (desirable).
• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record for the past three years.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lb and stand for extended periods in varying weather conditions.

Required skills

• Excellent visual acuity and manual dexterity.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and use protective equipment such as goggles, gloves, and non‑slip shoes.
