About the role
The Campus Marketing and Development Manager leads digital and direct‑mail fundraising and marketing campaigns for two campus Hillel organizations, supporting the mission to enrich the lives of Jewish college students.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute annual fundraising and marketing strategies, including stewardship touchpoints, appeals, renewal messaging, and newsletters.
- Manage digital fundraising channels (email, website, texting, social media) and direct‑mail initiatives, optimizing campaigns with segmentation, A/B testing, and personalization.
- Conduct wealth screening, build prospect donor pipelines, and perform in‑depth data analysis to inform fundraising tactics.
- Provide brand support, design consultation, and web assistance for fundraising efforts.
- Support major fundraising events, manage audience growth, and maintain campaign data in the CRM.
Required profile
- 4‑5 years of marketing or fundraising experience in the nonprofit sector (Hillel experience a plus).
- Proven success planning and executing multichannel digital campaigns.
- Excellent written communication and project‑management skills.
- Client‑service mindset with ability to collaborate across multiple stakeholders.
Required skills
- CRM/database management and reporting.
- Graphic design using Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar tools.
- Email marketing platforms such as MailChimp, Constant Contact, My Emma.
- Data analysis, audience segmentation, and performance reporting.
