Buyer – EV Marketplace

About the role

Plug is an automotive fintech startup building a dedicated marketplace for used electric vehicles. As a Buyer, you will lead the acquisition process, evaluating, negotiating, and purchasing EV inventory from consumers and dealer partners.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound leads and provide accurate valuations for electric vehicles.
• Analyze market data and trends to mitigate risk and ensure profitable purchases.
• Perform quality inspections and evaluations of vehicles to confirm values.
• Negotiate purchase terms, complete transactions, and manage post‑sale processes.
• Guide customers through each step of Plug’s sale process, serving as the primary point of contact.
• Collaborate on individual or team projects and follow up after completion.

Required profile

• Analytically oriented with strong interest in the automotive and EV industry.
• Goal‑oriented, enthusiastic, energetic, organized, and self‑motivated.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with all organizational levels.
