Business Property Manager I

About the role

The Terminal Business Development department is looking for a Business Property Manager I to oversee a diverse portfolio of non‑airline leases and commercial initiatives at San Diego International Airport. This position bridges commerce and the passenger experience, supporting revenue growth through food & beverage, retail, and convenience services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of airport leases, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and performance metrics.
• Coordinate lease negotiations, renewals, and amendments with tenants and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor financial performance of lease assets, preparing reports and forecasts for senior leadership.
• Collaborate with the customer experience team to align commercial offerings with passenger needs.
• Support the development of new commercial concepts and initiatives that enhance non‑airline revenue.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience managing commercial leases or property portfolios, preferably in an airport or large‑scale facility.
• Strong analytical and financial acumen with the ability to interpret lease data.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment, balancing on‑site collaboration with remote tasks.
