Business Development Manager – VA Channel (Washington DC)

About the role

The VA Business Development Manager will lead strategic growth for Coloplast across assigned VISNs and priority VA facilities in the Washington D.C. area. The role creates and executes enterprise‑level account strategies to expand market access, accelerate adoption of Coloplast solutions, and deliver sustainable revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and lead strategic territory and VISN‑level business plans aligned with customer priorities and Coloplast growth objectives.
• Apply consultative selling skills to uncover enterprise priorities, connect solutions to clinical and economic outcomes, and influence complex VA stakeholder networks.
• Build and sustain strategic partnerships with VISN and facility leadership, positioning Coloplast as a trusted partner.
• Maintain expert knowledge of VA health system dynamics, approval pathways, formulary requirements, and FSS processes.
• Organize and manage account information in the CRM system, ensuring accurate forecasting and disciplined execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (preferred) with 5+ years med‑tech sales experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 3 years of sales experience within the VA Health System.
• Willingness to travel 50‑70% of the time, including overnight trips.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet credentialing requirements for VA facilities.
