Business Development Manager – Travel Industry

About the role

Collette, the longest‑running tour operator in North America, is looking for a Business Development Manager to drive growth in its North Carolina territory. Based in the Raleigh/Durham area, you will travel throughout the region promoting Collette’s guided travel experiences and building lasting relationships with travel professionals and guests.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the Collette brand ambassador, partnering with travel professionals to educate and promote Collette products.
• Generate new B2B and B2C sales opportunities, close deals, and exceed revenue targets.
• Prospect strategically to expand market share, leveraging technology, data, and in‑person meetings.
• Maintain and grow existing accounts, ensuring customer needs are met and repeat business is secured.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align expectations and deliver exceptional service.
• Participate in trade shows, sales meetings, and product seminars to stay informed and share knowledge.

Required profile

• Resides in the Raleigh/Durham area and is willing to travel throughout the assigned territory.
• Strong communication and critical‑thinking abilities with a focus on relationship building.
• Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, and able to work independently while aligning with company strategy.
