About the role
We are seeking a results‑driven Business Development Manager to join our fast‑growing EdTech team focused on engineering up‑skilling. This US‑based remote position will be responsible for generating new business, expanding existing accounts, and representing our platform at industry events.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline to meet or exceed quarterly targets.
- Generate leads, conduct product demos, and prepare compelling sales proposals.
- Negotiate contracts, facilitate account creation, and ensure accurate data entry in Salesforce.
- Produce regular forecasts and sales reports for senior management.
- Build long‑term relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with marketing to design and execute targeted sales campaigns.
- Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences.
- Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and other industry events.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 3‑4 years of B2B enterprise sales experience with a proven track record.
- Experience in SaaS or platform sales within the e‑learning or EdTech sector is a plus.
- Familiarity with the manufacturing, automotive, or engineering education markets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, and able to work independently.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and events as needed.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Salesforce (SFDC) and related sales productivity tools.
