Business Development Manager

About the role

Aventura World (AVW) is seeking a remote Business Development Manager to expand its network of partnership opportunities with chambers of commerce, associations, nonprofits, alumni groups and other affinity organizations. The role focuses on generating new revenue streams through tailored travel programs that enhance member engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, prospect and qualify new partnership opportunities across target sectors.
• Conduct discovery calls, prepare customized proposals and deliver presentations that showcase AVW’s travel program value.
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads using CRM tools.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align partner needs with destination options, itinerary concepts and marketing support.
• Nurture existing partner relationships, monitor program performance and provide insights for optimization.
• Report regularly on sales activities, market trends and partnership outcomes to support strategic decisions.

Required profile

• Proven business development or B2B sales experience, including lead generation, pipeline management and closing partnership agreements.
• Experience working with chambers of commerce, associations, nonprofits or other membership‑based groups.
• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation abilities, able to address executive and board‑level audiences.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills, capable of working independently in a remote environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field (preferred).

Required skills

• Comfort with CRM systems.
• Experience using sales reporting tools.
• Proficiency with office productivity software such as email, spreadsheets and slide presentation applications.
