About the role
The Business Development Manager joins the Regional Sales Team to drive growth by partnering directly with Financial Advisors. This sales‑oriented position focuses on identifying client investment needs and recommending appropriate product solutions to increase assets under management.
Key responsibilities
- Position a broad range of investment products—including traditional, alternatives, packaged/pooled vehicles, structured solutions, and insurance‑linked products—as solutions aligned to client portfolio needs.
- Partner directly with Financial Advisors to uncover opportunities, drive product adoption, and grow assets.
- Translate product capabilities into clear, actionable investment ideas for advisors to implement with clients.
- Execute business development strategies and targeted campaigns to increase product penetration across advisor practices.
- Influence advisor behavior through coaching, idea generation, and ongoing sales engagement.
- Collaborate with Product Partners to deliver timely, market‑relevant solutions across diverse product sets.
Required profile
- 5+ years of experience in Wealth Management, preferably in an advisory or relationship‑management role.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Series 7 and 66 (or 63/65) licenses required.
- Demonstrated ability to position or sell investment products across multiple asset classes.
- Strong communication, influencing, and relationship‑management skills.
- Commercial, solutions‑oriented mindset with a track record of delivering measurable results.
