Bus Driver – Transport Pre‑School Students

About the role
DAEOC is seeking a reliable bus driver to transport pre‑school students to Head Start locations in the Malden area. The role focuses on providing a safe, clean and healthful environment for children and staff during daily routes.
Key responsibilities
- Drive a school bus on scheduled routes, transporting pre‑school children to and from Head Start sites.
- Maintain a safe, clean and healthful interior and exterior of the bus.
- Ensure the security of the vehicle and its passengers at all times.
- Perform routine mechanical checks and report any maintenance needs to keep the bus in safe operating condition.
Required profile
- High school diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Three to six months of related experience or training.
- Valid Missouri CDL (Class A or B) with passenger endorsement.
- Minimum age of 25 years as required by the insurance provider.
- Ability to provide proof of education (diploma or official transcript) when interviewed.
