Brand & Experiences Lead

About the role

Shepherd is looking for a resident vibe‑making machine to own how the company shows up in the world – from conferences and broker dinners to social, executive brand, and the content that ties it together. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will shape Shepherd’s presence across events, brand, content, and social.

Key responsibilities

• Lead event strategy and execution, designing and running conferences, broker‑facing dinners, roundtables, and unique activations.
• Develop and execute proprietary Shepherd experiences that reflect the brand and stand out from traditional carrier programs.
• Own social and executive brand narratives, managing posting calendars, content creation, and support for leadership.
• Manage content and creative partners, producing social, video, blog, and broker‑facing nurture material.
• Steward the brand system across web, decks, collateral, event presence, swag, and careers pages.
• Coordinate press and communications, handling PR partners, spokespeople, and earned coverage.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in brand, events, field marketing, or experiential marketing in high‑growth environments.
• Proven ownership of large‑scale events from strategy and budgeting through execution and follow‑up.
• Strong creative taste and ability to direct designers, photographers, videographers, and agencies.
• Comfortable using AI tools and modern creative software to accelerate preparation, logistics, copy, and content production.
