Branch Manager – AMS

About the role

The Branch Manager (AMS) leads day‑to‑day operations of the West Alexander branch, driving safety, financial performance and service excellence for Enerflex’s energy infrastructure solutions. This role reports to senior leadership and is responsible for both customer satisfaction and branch growth.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and actively promote Health, Safety & Environmental standards and related regulatory requirements.
• Meet branch financial objectives through budgeting, variance analysis and corrective actions.
• Set sales and service targets, forecast revenue and adjust pricing based on costs, competition and market demand.
• Supervise the Field Service Manager, Parts Department, shop lead and Service Admin, communicating expectations and job scope.
• Recruit, counsel, discipline staff and recommend salary increases, promotions or transfers.
• Oversee equipment overhauls, rotating equipment repairs and shop activities at the Make Ready location.
• Ensure accurate invoicing, warranty claims and internal expense tracking.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and identify growth opportunities.
• Manage SG&A, 24/7 coverage and inventory levels to support operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with at least ten years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven leadership ability in a plant or industrial environment.
• High degree of computer literacy, especially in MS Excel and Windows‑based applications.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
• Extensive knowledge of compressor units and rotating equipment.
