Boutique Operations Manager – Retail Operations Assistant

About the role

Join Nespresso’s Washington Square boutique as a Boutique Operations Manager, supporting the Boutique Manager and Assistant Sales Manager in daily store functions. You will oversee inventory, safety, compliance, and both back‑of‑house and front‑of‑house activities to deliver an exceptional coffee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with leadership to enforce retail operations procedures, safety protocols, cash handling, and inventory management.
• Manage IT systems, troubleshoot issues, and oversee equipment such as the coffee roaster, engraver, and tasting bar.
• Coordinate omni‑channel services, including same‑day delivery and in‑store pickup.
• Drive operational efficiencies using Total Quality Management principles and conduct regular compliance audits.
• Lead and coach a back‑of‑house team of two, and act as Manager on Duty for front‑of‑house when needed.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3+ years retail or customer‑service experience, with a preference for operations or back‑of‑house roles.
• Proven leadership ability and a detail‑oriented, analytical mindset.
• Availability for open/close shifts, weekends, holidays, and up to 10% travel.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Experience using Adobe tools.
• Familiarity with AI tools and other technology platforms.
