Boutique Manager – Retail Store (San Jose)

About the role

As a Nespresso Boutique Manager you are the leader of the store and the face of the brand. You will inspire your team, deliver an exceptional coffee experience, and connect with the local community while championing sustainability and Nespresso’s values.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, develop, and coach a high‑performing team, managing performance and recognition.
• Create personalized coffee experiences for customers through storytelling and product expertise.
• Lead training initiatives to ensure strong product knowledge, selling techniques, and operational standards.
• Drive sales and service excellence by setting targets, monitoring KPIs, and implementing continuous‑improvement strategies.
• Maintain operational excellence, inventory control, labor cost management, and compliance with SOPs.
• Promote a safety‑conscious culture and adhere to Nestlé’s health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Foster community connections and develop creative initiatives to build brand loyalty.

Required profile

• 4+ years experience in fast‑paced or luxury retail, with 3+ years in a supervisory role.
• High School Diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Strong time‑management, prioritization, and ability to work open/close shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Genuine enthusiasm for coffee, sustainability, and a desire to share the brand story.
• Willingness to travel as required.
