Board Certified/Eligible Urologist – Meridian, MS

About the role

Ochsner Health is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Urologist to join its well‑established urology practice in Meridian, Mississippi. The position offers a blend of clinic and operating‑room duties within an integrated health‑care system that serves a large referral network across eight counties.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive urology care, including outpatient clinic visits and surgical procedures in two da Vinci robotic suites (XI and SI).
• Perform advanced techniques such as Navigated Prostate Biopsy (Invivo), Blue Light cystoscopy for bladder cancer, Urolift for BPH, and urodynamics.
• Participate in on‑call rotations (approximately 10 days per month) and manage block time for surgical cases.
• Utilize state‑of‑the‑art equipment including cystoscopy tables, lasers, scopes, and video systems.
• Teach and mentor residents in the local family‑medicine residency program.

Required profile

• Board Certification or eligibility in Urology.
• Experience with robotic surgery and the listed advanced urologic procedures.
• Commitment to delivering high‑quality patient care in a community‑focused setting.

Required skills
