About the role

Ochsner Health is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Urologist to join the Ochsner Medical Center – Baptist team in New Orleans, LA. The position offers the opportunity to work alongside five other urologists, two advanced practice providers, and state‑of‑the‑art facilities including two DaVinci Xi robotic systems, multiple cystoscopy suites, and prostate biopsy areas. Physicians will participate in a 1:6 call schedule, collaborate with residents, and deliver comprehensive adult and pediatric urologic care across a wide range of subspecialties.

Required profile

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology
Newly trained or experienced physicians welcome
Willingness to work with residents and contribute to academic activities

Required skills

Proficiency with DaVinci Xi robotic surgery
Experience performing cystoscopy
Prostate biopsy techniques
Laser and minimally invasive therapy expertise
Robotic High‑Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU)
Extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy
