Board Certified Pediatric Radiologist

About the role

Ochsner Health is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Pediatric Radiologist to join its new Children’s Hospital opening in 2027. The position offers a 100% pediatric radiology practice within a high‑volume, tertiary pediatric hospital and includes opportunities for academic involvement and clinical leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive pediatric imaging services, including fluoroscopy, ultrasound, CT, and MRI.
• Collaborate closely with pediatric surgery, oncology, neurology, and emergency medicine teams.
• Participate in shared call rotations and support quality improvement initiatives.
• Engage in teaching residents and medical students through the Ochsner Clinical School and partner universities.

Required profile

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Radiology.
• Fellowship‑trained with experience in a high‑volume tertiary pediatric setting.
• Interest in academic activities, research, and mentorship.

Required skills

• Fluoroscopy, ultrasound, CT, and MRI imaging techniques.
• Proficiency with PACS, RIS, and EPIC electronic health record systems.
