About the role

Ochsner Lafayette General is seeking a Board‑Certified or Board‑Eligible Orthopedic Hand Surgeon to join a rapidly expanding, high‑volume practice. The position offers immediate block time, a strong referral network, and the chance to work with state‑of‑the‑art technology in a supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform hand surgeries, typically 2‑3 days in the OR per week, using advanced equipment such as surgical microscopes.
• Teach and supervise residents, contributing to the academic mission of the institution.

Required profile

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Hand Surgery.
• Either an experienced surgeon or a recent graduate ready to build a thriving practice.

Required skills

• Proficiency with surgical microscope for hand procedures.
• Expertise in hand surgery techniques.
