Board Certified Hematologist – Academic Medical Center

About the role

Ochsner Health is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Hematologist to join the Ochsner MD Anderson Cancer Center, one of only seven MD Anderson partners in the nation. The position involves providing both inpatient and outpatient hematology care while contributing to the academic mission of the institution.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive inpatient and outpatient hematology patient care.
• Participate in, develop, and lead clinical research studies.
• Teach and mentor fellows and residents in hematology.
• Contribute to the growth and development of the hematology program.

Required profile

• Board certified or board eligible in hematology.
• Completion of an ACGME‑accredited hematology fellowship (classical or combined).

Required skills

• Proficiency with the EPIC electronic health record system.
