Board Certified Gastroenterologist – Lake Charles

Ochsner Health is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Gastroenterologist to join its growing GI group in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Since opening its doors in 1942, Ochsner has been dedicated to serving, healing, leading, educating, and innovating. The position offers a balanced schedule with clinic time, procedures, and on‑call responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform approximately 10 endoscopic procedures and manage 10‑12 clinic patients each day.
• Participate in a 1:4 on‑call rotation, covering one week at a time, with the ability to schedule additional procedures on call Fridays.
• Collaborate with two established gastroenterologists in a growing GI group.

Required profile

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.
• Open to physicians directly from residency training or those with prior experience.
