Board-Certified Gastroenterologist – Clinic & Endoscopy Role

About the role

Ochsner Health Baton Rouge seeks a board‑certified or board‑eligible gastroenterologist to join a growing, clinic‑based department with dedicated endoscopy days and a supportive multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide gastroenterology care in the outpatient clinic, including consults and follow‑up appointments.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures on dedicated endoscopy days using state‑of‑the‑art equipment.
• Participate in a weekly call rotation covering clinic and hospital consults, with a 1:5 on‑call schedule.

Required profile

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.
• Experience with endoscopy, EUS, impedance, pH monitoring, and manometry.
• Willingness to work in an integrated practice model with a strong internal referral network.
