Bilingual Dental Billing & Patient Support Virtual Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a bilingual (English/Spanish) virtual assistant to provide comprehensive dental billing, insurance, and patient support for a busy U.S. dental practice. The role is fully remote and requires strong knowledge of dental insurance processes and excellent communication skills.

Key responsibilities

• Process dental insurance claims, manage denials, appeals, and follow‑up on outstanding claims.
• Verify patient eligibility and benefits, including Medicare and Medicaid.
• Handle inbound and outbound patient calls, schedule appointments, and coordinate referrals.
• Perform virtual receptionist duties and ensure timely response to patient inquiries.
• Provide general front‑office administrative support using Open Dental and Practice by Numbers.

Required profile

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (both spoken and written).
• Proven experience in the U.S. dental industry and with dental insurance claims.
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.
• Reliable high‑speed internet, a quiet workspace, and a professional video‑ready setup.
