Beverage Supervisor - The Pavilion at Star Lake

About the role

The Beverage Supervisor directs all activities of the beverage department at The Pavilion at Star Lake. The role covers the overall operation and financial responsibility of the beverage outlet, with a focus on quality, service and profit through excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Direct all activities of the beverage department
• Maintain the highest standards of beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits
• Conduct monthly inventory to ensure all alcoholic beverages are accounted for, and monitor inventory and pricing daily
• Coordinate the movement of beverages and equipment per restaurant and catering operations
• Develop and institute beverage training for the F&B team, including state and local beverage laws and regulations
• Work with the Purchasing Manager on beverage orders and develop the drink menu
• Provide a safe and reliable environment for customers and employees, following safety policies and reporting incidents through the company's risk management system

Required profile

• Ability to work long hours and flexible shifts, including mornings, nights, weekends and holidays
• College degree preferred; Food & Beverage and/or restaurant experience preferred
• Excellent knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations and etiquette
• English reading, speaking and writing ability
• Punctual, dependable, organized and able to work independently or in a team
